I was having a conversation with a guy in his mid 20s a few days ago.
He said he got a job working as a professor teaching a class at one of the local colleges.
He was looking for a place to get his fingerprints done.
Me: “Are you going to let them scan your eye balls too?”
Him: “No, hehe”
Me: “It’s no different. I wouldn’t do it. They’re going to start scanning your eye balls too… “
There was a pause in the conversation. I thought it was over. But then he continued…
“Why not?”
“Our government is corrupt. You know this. We were just talking about this… I wouldn’t give them anything”
“Even if it meant not taking a job?”
“Yes, of course. I’ve said no to jobs because of it. I’m trained as a therapist. There are plenty of part time jobs I could do for few hours that would pay me well and I would enjoy.
But I don’t do any of that – no fingerprinting… no child abuse clearances… no physical exams… none of that….”
